Advice to a private landowner, dealing with the Highways England (now National Highways) Development Consent Order (DCO) application for the A556 highway replacement scheme.
Action Plan
We reviewed the scheme proposals, including the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and prepared written representations to the Planning Inspectorate as part of the Examination in public process. RJP co-ordinated a team of experts on matters in relation to noise, visual impacts, heritage and highways. Our team prepared clear and concise challenges to elements of the road scheme that impacted our client’s property.
Outcomes
The A556 is now up and running and tree planting around our client's property is maturing well.
