Why do you work for RJP town planners?
As a Mancunian, I could not pass up an opportunity to get stuck in making this city a better place to live and work.
Experience, specialism & skills
Most of my background is in residential development and land subdivision, but more recently I have been developing knowledge in the commercial and major infrastructure sectors. I have spent half my career overseas in Australia and New Zealand, and also volunteer with the University of Sheffield and the RTPI.
Tell us what you like best about being a town planner?
The variety. No two projects are the same and there's always something new to learn or a unique way to approach a problem. It definitely keeps you on your toes.
Aside from work
I'm an avid traveller, having visited over 40 countries and counting. I normally skip sightseeing in favour of the nearest craft beer bar.
